Name of SIG

Australasian Soilborne Diseases Symposia

Aims of SIG

Australasian Soilborne Diseases Symposia (ASDSs) have been convened at approximately 2 year intervals since 1999, when the 1st ASDS was held at Gold Coast, Queensland, These Symposia aim to attract researchers in plant pathology and related disciplines, considering some of the most intractable and damaging plant diseases caused by soilborne pathogens. The conferences have continued to attract researchers from Australasia and elsewhere, providing key venues for knowledge transfer, and opportunities for interaction and collaboration, under the auspices of the Australasian Plant Pathology Society.
